ComPower

ComPower, at Ideon Innovation in Lund, is developing a boiler with a micro turbine which generates both heat and electricity. Through "the district heating power system" in houses or blocks of flats, energy costs can be reduced to half at best.

The company was founded by Lars Malmrup, chairman, who together with the Chief Executive Anders Malmquist and the production manager Johny Nordgren previously cooperated together within the Volvo Group of companies. The founders have been developing micro-turbines since the 1980s.
