FlexiWaggon

The company FlexiWaggon has developed a transport solution for goods transports by railway which can compete with truck transports as regards transport times and delivery security.

Today, the loading and unloading of containers, demountable body systems and trailers is time-consuming and requires particularly costly terminals.
With FlexiWaggon's system, trucks are transported by train whereby they are driven up onto a railway wagon. Each individual wagon-end can be turned to the right and left of the track. The entire set of wagons can thereby be loaded and unloaded at the same time which means shorter stopping periods. Even private passenger vehicles and buses can drive on board.

FlexiWaggon was started in the year 2000 by Jan Eriksson with experience as a product developer within Electrolux. The company has a strong patent which covers the technical solutions. In its development the company has co-operated, among others, with SSAB, Banverket and Inlandgods.
