You must also look after your personal hygiene
It may be more difficult to look after your personal hygiene after a power cut.
• Use a flannel and wet wipes.
During a longer power cut, you will be unable to flush the toilet.
When you have flushed the toilet, the cistern will be emptied and will not be refilled with new water.
- Place a plastic carrier bag in the toilet bowl and use the toilet as usual. Check that the carrier bag is whole.
- Knot the carrier bag when you have finished. Place the bags in a sturdy bin liner.
