Travel is associated with both business and leisure – but it may also be a necessary evil. Regardless of the reason for travelling, energy is always consumed.
Travelling and transport account for a large proportion of the carbon dioxide emissions that contribute to the greenhouse effect. Moreover, transport is rapidly on the increase both in the western world and in the dynamically growing countries such as China. The picture may look a little gloomy, but there is much we can do to save energy, money and the environment.
