The 72 hour race to innovation at World Expo

In “The Spirit of Innovation”, the Swedish Pavilion, a few creative Swedish and Chinese experts will work together in two mixed teams in a competitive sustainable innovations race.
 
- We see the urgent need for innovations to make further global development possible. With our innovation race we hope to demonstrate the competitiveness of Chinese-Swedish co-operation, says Tomas Kåberger, Director General of the Swedish Energy Agency.   
  

The 72 hour race: Time 2 Innovate

For many years, Sweden has been at the cutting edge of innovation. Sweden’s success has been due to the widespread commitment to teamwork, the ability to work methodically and to think outside the box.
 
This spectacular race, in collaboration with Innovation Plant and IPQ, will demonstrate that, when the right conditions are in place, innovations can be generated and brought to market with amazing speed.
