Adding representatives

The number of representatives on every account must always be at least two. All information concerning the representatives must always be updated and true. The responsibility for this lies with the account holder.

If there is a need to add or replace account representatives, this must be done through an application to the Swedish Energy Agency. A guide for this procedure can be found here.

If the requirement of the number of account representatives is not met, or if the account holder does not inform the Swedish Energy Agency of important changes concerning the representatives or the account holder, all access to the account can be suspended.

Common requirements for all types of documents

To prove the authenticity of submitted documents and for the Swedish Energy Agency to be able to examine the content, all copies of documents must be certified by a Notary public. If the original documents were not issued in Sweden, the copy must also be legalised or have a valid apostille stamp. The date of certification or legalisation must not be older than three months. Contact information of the notary or the expedition that legalised the documents must be attached to the application.

Documents submitted shall be in Swedish or English. If the original document is in another language, a legalised copy must be submitted together with a certified translation.
