Fiber Tornado AB has an exclusive license to a technology that offers the industry the possibility to transform a residual product without any real value into an energy and/or product raw material on an industrial scale.

The technical potential of achieving the energy rationalisation of Swedish paper mills is calculated to be 360 GWh/year.

Approx. 40 million tons of residual sludge with low dry matter and high organic material levels are produced annually in the world's pulp and paper industry. The rate of increase is 3–5 %.
Current technology for sludge dewatering is unable to dewater this sludge in an energy efficient manner.
