Nordic Energy Outlook - an arena for ideas and discussions
On March 15-17 the Swedish Energy Agency hosted the Annual Conference the Nordic Energy Outlook. With over 2 300 participants, 58 exhibitors, 55 seminars and a total of 270 speakers, the conference was just what the Agency had hoped for.
New ventures and a up-to-date program attracted visitors from all over the country to Gothenburg. An important objective of the new conference was to create a new arena for Nordic energy discussions, and with representatives from companies, governments and universities from several Nordic countries, could Tomas Kåberger, Director General at the Swedish Energy Agency, declare it a success:
"I want to thank all participants who gave the Swedish Energy Agency important ideas and arguments and at the same time shared those ideas with the rest of the conference."
Anna Friden, Head of Communication at the Swedish Energy Agency, also put emphasis on the international perspective at the conference:
"In view of what is happening in the world today, it becomes increasingly important that we cooperate across the national borders in energy issues."
