Cabinet ministers participate in The National Energy Convention 2008
The Swedish National Energy Convention is the most important energy- and climate conference in the country.
This year’s convention takes place March 12-13th at Stockholm International fairs in Älvsjö, Stockholm. Main organizer is the Swedish Energy Agency. The Convention celebrates its 10th anniversary.
Two cabinet ministers will participate. Mrs Maud Olofsson, Minister for Enterprise and Energy, Deputy Prime Minister, is the key note speaker during the opening session on Wednesday March 12th. She will then be part of a five person dialogue concerning energy related issues.
Mr Andreas Carlgren, Minister for the Environment, is the key note speaker after lunch on Thursday March 13th, focusing on sustainable development. He will then participate in a panel debate. Participating in the Convention is also the newly appointed Director General Mr Tomas Kåberger.
