Lighting Week 2018
Since 2011, the Lighting Research Center (LRC) from Troy, New York, has visited the Swedish Energy Agency for a week of lighting seminars on an advanced level. The week has become very popular among the participants, and this year the week will be held between 3-7 December in Stockholm.

4 December, 2018 - Training in advanced lighting
Training in lighting at an advanced level. Main hosts are LRC and the Swedish Energy Agency.

The halogen technology is a classical light source for the cultural scenes and stages. With the progress of the LED technology, new lighting options are available, but is the experienced LED light quality comparable to halogen light? What can we expect from the new light sources? 6 December, 2018 - Lighting in the public sector
There is a great benefit in collaborating with other Swedish agencies within energy efficiency issues. Particularly concerning lighting since it is a product area that is under a rapid technical development. The seminar will cover topics as;

7 December, 2018 - LiFi workshop
International seminar with the founders of LiFi technology and IEEE. LiFi is a new and a potentially revolutionary communication link for connected products with increased bandwidth and security.
The seminar will give an overview the technology, research frontiers, technology standards and share a real-life demonstration. Open for everyone but seats are limited.
