The statistics presented in the tool are part of Sweden’s official energy statistics. In some cases, we have access to time series dating back to 1970.
Official Energy Statistics
The Swedish Energy Agency is responsible for Sweden’s official statistics in the following areas:
- energy supply, use, and efficiency
- energy balances
- price trends in the energy sector
- energy infrastructure
As the responsible authority for these statistics, we ensure that the data is objective, quality-assured, and well-documented.
Please note: some content is currently only available in Swedish. An English version is under development. However, all tables in the statistics database are available in English – including official statistics, forecasts, and energy indicators.
