Forecasts and Scenarios
The short-term forecast is presented using the same graphs and key figure comparisons as the official statistics in Sweden’s Energy System – An Overview. This makes it possible to compare past, present, and future – and gain a comprehensive view of the energy system’s development.
The forecast is an assessment of what is most likely to happen over the coming years, based on historical data, current trends, and external analysis. It is updated twice a year.
The long-term scenarios help us understand several possible futures over a longer time horizon.
Sweden’s Energy System – An Overview will be updated with long-term scenarios showing possible development pathways for the energy system.
