The call for proposals for the Joint Nordic Hydrogen Research Programme is now open.

In this call for proposals, the Swedish Energy Agency is providing support for research and innovation projects that contribute to the energy and climate transition by developing knowledge about the role of biomass in society and sustainable bio-based solutions.

The Swedish government has decided to carry out a release of the Swedish emergency stocks of oil. The release is part of the joint collective action decided by the member countries of the International Energy Agency (IEA) on the 1st of March 2022.

The Swedish Energy Agency is allocating SEK 85 million within the research program “Human, Energy Systems and Society” (MESAM). In this call we welcome project proposals involving new working methods, processes, and tools that are examined in practice and can contribute to transitioning into sustainable energy systems for all. This call is primarily aimed at researchers working with perspectives and methods based in e.g. social sciences, humanities and interdisciplinary research. Proposals should be submitted by August 31, 2022, 23.59 at the latest.

On 22 March, Sweden Sustaintech Venture Day takes place in Stockholm, a capital market day for companies within the sustainability sector (Sustaintech). More than 30 selected Swedish companies will participate, pitching their energy solutions to investors.
