Open a Verifier account
Here you will find information on how to apply for a Verifier account.
Verifiers need access to the Union Registry primarily to verify emissions reported by operators under the EU ETS.
To open a verifier account in the registry, evidence that the verifier is properly accredited is required. The verifier is responsible for applying for an account in the Union Registry. The account is free of charge.
Please note!
The two steps, (1) registering in the Union Registry and (2) submitting an application to the Agency, must be completed before the application can be processed. If additional information is needed, the applicant will be notified via email.
Accreditation Evidence
Together with the application, you must attach a document proving that the one applying to open a verifier account is accredited as a verifier according to Article 15 of Directive 2003/87/EC.
