Adding representatives to existing accounts

Here you can find information about the process and the different steps you need to complete to become an account representative in the Union Registry.

To become a new representative for an existing account in the Union Registry, the applicant needs to register on the Union Registry website and submit an application to the Swedish Energy Agency. If you have a Swedish eID or an eIDAS-approved identification, this can be done in Swedish via our e-service. If English is preferred, you must apply via paper forms and documentation.

Requirement of at least two representatives for an account

The number of representatives for an account must always be at least two. The information about these representatives must be kept complete, up-to-date, accurate and true. The responsibility for this lies with the account holder. Failure to meet the requirement for at least two representatives for each account, or failure to inform the Swedish Energy Agency of important changes regarding representatives or account holders, may result in all access to the account being blocked.
