Adding representatives to existing accounts

Here you can find information about the process and the different steps you need to complete to become an account representative in the Union Registry.

As a new representative, you need to register on the Union Registry website and be added to the accounts for which you will act as a representative. Registration is personal and must be done by the applicant representative.

EU Registry (europa.eu)

1. Create a user account in the Union Registry

To be able to do this, you need to install the EU Login mobile app, which is used when logging in and signing processes in the registry. Follow this guide on how to create a user account in the Union Registry.

Once you have created your user account, a URID (Union Registry ID) will be generated for your user. Your URID is visible in the right corner when you are logged in to the registry (e.g. SE123456789).

2. Link user to account

The next step is to have your user connected to the accounts for which you will act as a representative. For this you need to get help from a colleague who is already a representative in the Union Registry. Your colleague needs your URID to be able to add you to the account.

User roles

The addition of a representative is sent to the Swedish Energy Agency for approval. Only one representative administration task can be generated at a time per account in the Union Registry. If multiple representatives are to be added to the same account, this needs to be done one at a time.
