Adding representatives to existing accounts

Here you can find information about the process and the different steps you need to complete to become an account representative in the Union Registry.

1. Apply for access to e-service

To be able to submit an application on Mina sidor, you first need to be authorised to represent the company or organisation in the Swedish Energy Agency's e-service. If you already have access to the e-service Handel med utsläppsrätter, you do not need to apply again.

  • Log in to Mina sidor with an eID.
  • Apply for access to the e-service Handel med utsläppsrätter (EU ETS).
  • Select how you want to connect to the e-service.
  • Attach a power of attorney that applies to emissions trading.

  • Enter your details and submit.
  • You will be notified via email when you have been authorised and can create a case.

2. Submit an application for account representatives

Once you have been authorised to represent the company on Mina sidor, you need to log in to Mina sidor again and select Skapa ärende. You do this in the left-hand menu that appears when you are logged in.

Then select Ansökan för kontoombud > Skapa ärende, complete the application form and submit the requested documentation.

  • No e-ID?

    If you don't have an e-ID, you can submit the application in paper form by mailing it to the Swedish Energy Agency.

    On the form, you must:

    • enter information about the organisation or natural/legal person who is the account holder,
    • enter information about the person(s) who will act as the representative for the account holder in the Union Registry,
    • read through the information about the Agency’s management of personal data,
    • ensure that a valid company signatory or existing representative for your organisation signs the form. You yourself as the applicant can also sign the form, if you enclose a valid power of attorney with your application.

    This should be included in your application by mail to the Swedish Energy Agency:

    • application form
    • other required documentation.
