The highest energy use per house is found among those situated in counties in the northern part of Sweden, while the lowest use is registered in houses located in Blekinge. Electric heating is the most common method of heating. This can be seen from the Swedish Energy Agency's energy statistics for houses, which contain statistics on all the counties and municipalities in Sweden.
2011-11-08 09:55 Press releaseNew statistics: Increased energy use for multi-dwelling buildings and non-residential premises, 2010There was an increase in the energy used for heating multi-dwelling buildings and non-residential premises during 2010. This is apparent from new statistics published by the Swedish Energy Agency. A multi-dwelling building was found to use on average 158 kWh per square metre for heating and hot water.
