1. Creation of the user account

Follow the instructions on pp. 12-17 the manual or in the video demo FIRST TIME USER for guidance.

2. Adding the user to an account

To add a representative to an account, follow the instructions on page 31-32 in the user manual. Please note that the registration must be done by an existing account representative and that the URID of the new representative is needed.

When the registration is done, a task will be created for the National administrator to approve. This should be noted in the paper documentation sent to the Swedish Energy Agency. Authorised Representatives and Additional authorised Representatives

The Authorised Representative (AR) is the basic user role for all accounts in the registry. This role can initiate transactions, enter emissions and perform surrenders. The Additional Authorized Representative (AAR) exists mainly if you want a separate role used only to approve the transactions proposed by the authorised representatives .
At least one AAR is necessary to transfer units unless you work with trusted accounts, ie. accounts recorded in a special list for easy access. For transfers to trusted accounts there is no AAR approval needed.

NOTE ! If an AAR is appointed to an account then all transfers, including those to trusted accounts, must be approved by him.

3. Confirmation of the application

When your application is approved, the new representative will receive an enrolment key by regular mail. The key is needed to activate your access to the registry, see p.18 in the manual.
