Projektsammanfattning:
Industrial sites are becoming more exposed to heat. Large roofs, paved surfaces, parking areas and logistics zones can store heat and increase the need for cooling in nearby buildings. This creates higher energy use during warm periods and makes sites more vulnerable to future heatwaves.
Green Urbansights will develop SiteCool, a digital decision support tool for industrial sites. The tool creates a digital twin of the site and combines satellite data, thermal data, vegetation data and GeoAI. It shows where heat builds up and where greenery can give the strongest passive cooling effect.
The project will develop a first MVP and take the solution from TRL 3 to TRL 4. When the project is finished, SiteCool will help prepare customer verification and future paid pilots. In the long term, the solution can support lower cooling demand, lower peak loads and more climate resilient industrial sites.
