Projektsammanfattning:
Hydrogen can be produced from biomass and biogas. Syngas and biogas are produced through gasification and pyrolysis. The steam reforming technique is essential for the conversion of biogas or syngas from biomass. However, steam reforming is a strongly endothermic reaction. Traditionally, the energy supporting used for steam reforming is partial combustion with or without catalysts. We have discovered a 3D printed electrically heated catalyst for this reforming process. In this project, we plan to 1) explore the applications of this innovation, with the focus on reforming of biogas reforming to H2 and CO2; reforming the syngas and tar from biomass gasification and pyrolysis; 2) develop potential customers, and 3) make IPR- strategies.
