Projektsammanfattning:
The Argon Power Cycle (APC) has the potential to convert hydrogen to motive power with higher efficiency and lower cost than either hydrogen engines or fuel cells. It has no tailpipe and no emissions. APC does not require any critical materials or rare earth elements (REE). APC is thus unique and offers a path for sustainable transportation that is both totally emissions free and without the dependency on materials from nations outside Europe. APC is not new, but with hydrogen emerging as an energy carrier APC makes sense and interest has reemerged. Recent studies seem to confirm the positive aspects of APC. Still there are so many uncertainties with APC that needs to be researched to disprove the concept or to speed up its implementation. This pre-study will be performed by academia and industry in collaboration and aims to: - present the international state-of-art - propose consecutives research plans - perform one experimental study - present a cost sensitivity analysis
